The Awards
The Awards are about bringing the euro rail network together to celebrate its achievements in providing efficient, high quality and safe connectivity across Europe; reducing Europe's emission of greenhouse gases; boosting jobs and economic growth; and facilitating European competitiveness.
The awards aim to:
- reward and encourage European railway excellence and innovation
- disseminate the very best practice throughout Europe
- help new markets to learn from the more established players
- promote inter-operability to achieve seamless rail travel across the whole of Europe.
We welcome entries from both EU and non-EU European countries.
Entries for the awards will be accepted online up to 9 May 2014 and will be assessed by our expert judging panel.
Winners of the 18 prestigious awards will be announced at the 2nd annual Awards ceremony and dinner in London which will take place on the evening of the 11 November 2014 during our European Rail Congress at the Park Plaza Riverbank, London.
The Awards dinner will be in English, no translation will be offered.
